
Meet the Staff
Stacy Blackstone, BS, LVN, CADC-II
Stacy has served in field of treatment for substance use disorders since 1989. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration; a CADC-II Alcohol and Drug Certification through the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC); and is a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). She has devoted her life to helping individuals overcome the debilitating effects of alcohol and drug abuse. She is active in the community. She is a member of San Bernardino County’s Association of Community Based Organizations (ACBO) and Chairs its Alcohol and Other Drug Sub-committee. She is a member of the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Program Executives (CAADPE); is active with California Association of Therapeutic Communities; the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Program Administrators and was selected to serve on a Proposition 63 committee to represent alcohol and drug treatment agencies in San Bernardino County. Stacy is a member of the Upland Foothill Kiwanis Club and serves on its Board of Directors; and as the Key Club Advisor for Upland High School. In addition, Stacy serves as a Surveyor for CARF, the Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. She has been with IVRS since November 2000 and over the years has developed IVRS into the premier agency that it is, serving both the west-end and centrally located cities of San Bernardino County. As a result of many years of hands-on experience, Stacy is a seasoned professional. She is a profound leader, with a vast array of positive qualities and character, which are integral components for maintaining a high level of client care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders.
Laurie Figueroa, BA
Laurie has been with the agency nearly 10 years. She holds Bachelors degree in Business from Cal State Fullerton and has 15 years experience with MAS90 Accounting Software. She is devoted to her family of eight (8) and her husband, Eric is her very best friend. All of the kids are active in both sports and school, and recognize the most important family member as RAMBO (their English Bull Dog)! "Our family works together and plays together just the same", says Laurie, "And I always count my blessings". Last, but certainly not least, Laurie is a big Dodgers fan, and Lakers fan!
Ellen Davis
Ellen has worked in treatment administration and management since 1993 and has technical experience in grant writing, along with licensing and CARF accreditation standards. She has a personal interest, and has devoted her life and career to the helping professions. She loves her family of animals, and the outdoors - camping, motorcycles and the beach!
John O'Connell, RASI
John began work in the recovery field in 1995. He has 10 years experience in admissions and assures the highest quality of service is provided to IVRS clients when they arrive for treatment. He lives by this: "If I can help just one person each day then I have done well". John is a people person. He loves to laugh and live for each day. He says his wife, mother and father are his very best friends and each day he tries to be the best husband, father and son that he can be. Last, but certainly not least, John is a big Angels fan, and Lakers fan!
Christie Morris, CATC-II
Christie came to us in 2003 as a Recovery Advocate at the residential program. Once she graduated from Mount San Antonio college in 2005 she was promoted to Counselor, and then to Senior Counselor in 2008. She now serves as Residential Services Coordinator at our Residential Campus in Upland. She is dedicated to her own recovery and helping others. She is the mother of 3, and her grandbaby, Jaylen Christopher is the love of her life. She means the world to somebody; loves to decorate houses; and believes in angels.

Francis Rincon
Francis began work with IVRS in 2005. Over the years her demostrated ability as a skilled and dedicated employee resulted in her promotion to Program Coordinator at IVRS' Drinking Driver Program. She has worked in DUI and Domestic Violence Batterer's treatment since 1999. She is a devoted wife and mother and we are happy to have her on board.
Pamela Nickell, CAS
Pamela came to IVRS in 2004. While in school to become an addiction specialist she was hired on at IVRS as a driver for our residential program. Pamela graduated at the top of her class and moved to our Adult Outpatient Services Program to do her internship. Pamela was selected to help start IVRS’ Youth Services Program and has been an integral part of the program since its inception. Pamela’s efforts have resulted in tremendous growth of the program. Pamela loves making jewelry and spending time with her family and her dog, Rudy who is the love of her life!
Pat Sutay, RAS, CART
Pat joined IVRS in 2011. She is a valuable addition to the team. She comes to us with over 20 years experience in the field of substance abuse treatment. She holds a RAS Certification from Breining Institue and CART Certification.
