Medi-Cal Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services

IVRS is proud to offer Medi-Cal covered substance use disorder services across San Bernardino County, Riverside County, and Los Angeles County. Access to services is based on medical necessity, and eligibility is determined through an ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) assessment.

Services Available

We provide a full continuum of care that may include the following, depending on assessed need:

  • Outpatient Services
  • Residential Treatment
  • Withdrawal Management (Detox)
  • Recovery Support Services
  • Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Eligibility and Access

San Bernardino County Medi-Cal Members

If you are a Medi-Cal recipient in San Bernardino County, you may be eligible for SUD treatment services at IVRS based on medical necessity.

  • Withdrawal Management is available without limitation or restriction and is provided based on clinical need.
  • Residential Treatment is offered for durations between 30 and 120 days, depending on your ASAM level of care.

Riverside County Medi-Cal Members

IVRS is an approved provider for Riverside County Medi-Cal members. Services are based on medical necessity and determined by ASAM assessment.

To initiate services, you must first contact the Riverside County SU-CARES Line for screening and referral.

Medi-Cal recipients in Los Angeles County are also eligible for IVRS services. Access is based on medical necessity and an ASAM assessment.

Los Angeles County Medi-Cal Members

You may contact IVRS directly to be screened and scheduled for services with our admissions department at 909-932-1069 or you can contact your Los Angeles County Service and Bed Availability Tool (SBAT) or your primary health plan for a referral.
